How do I start a timer?
Open the focus space and choose Countdown or Pomodoro. Open Settings to choose your minutes, then press Start. You can pause, resume, or reset at any time.
Will refreshing the page reset my timer?
Your timer and settings are saved locally in this browser when storage is available. A running timer uses its finish time to catch up after a refresh. Clearing browser data or using another browser starts a fresh space.
Why didn’t I hear the timer sound?
Turn on the end sound in Settings, use Preview timer sound, and check your device volume. Keep the page open. Browsers can suspend pages in the background or while a device sleeps, so sound may be delayed until you return.
Can I keep the screen awake?
Turn on Keep this screen awake in Settings. This needs a compatible browser and a secure connection. Your device may still release the screen lock, for example when the tab is hidden or battery is low. MinuFlow shows the current status.
Can I use it on a classroom screen?
Yes. Open the clock or a timer, then choose fullscreen where supported. The layout adapts to larger screens. You can also use your browser’s zoom to find a comfortable size.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed for the free clock and timers. Your focus settings are stored on your device; they are not synced between devices in this version.
How do ambient sounds work?
Open Sounds and click any of the 16 sounds to play it. Click again to stop, or choose another sound to switch. Only one sound plays at a time. Use the category filter to browse and your device controls to adjust volume. Playback never starts automatically after a refresh. All current sounds are available without an account; timer alarms are separate.
Why will a sound not play?
Check your device volume and connection, then switch the sound off and on to retry. If another MinuFlow tab is playing, pause it first. A browser or sleeping device can suspend audio; click a sound when you return. The clock and timers keep working if a sound fails to load.
How does Music work?
Open Music, paste a Spotify or YouTube link, and optionally name it. Spotify loads only when you choose a playlist or press Load Spotify player; YouTube opens in a separate tab. Save up to 40 favorites locally in this browser, or pick from 20 themed playlists in the translucent library. Clearing browser data removes favorites. There is no account syncing yet.
Why does Spotify only play a preview?
The embedded player is provided by Spotify. Playback length, availability, cookies, and sign-in depend on Spotify and your browser. Use Open in Spotify if a player is unavailable. Switching Music sections keeps the shared player visible. Closing the Music panel stops the embedded player; an external tab must be stopped in that tab. Starting a Spotify player stops MinuFlow ambient audio. No music file is uploaded to MinuFlow.
Is Premium available?
Premium is in development at $19 per year. Checkout and student-code redemption are not open yet. Valid sponsored student codes will provide free, ongoing Premium access once redemption launches.
