MinuFlow for work

A focus timer for independent work.

For freelancers and remote workers who need to finish the next draft, design pass, or difficult decision. Put one task and a clear work block in a calmer browser tab; keep your projects in the tools you already use.

One calm working tab

A place to do the work, not manage everyone else's.

Your project board may track every deliverable. MinuFlow serves a different moment: you have chosen what matters, and now you need to work on it. Keep a short task list, a note about where to start, a timer, and an optional background together while the larger plan stays in your project tool.

That distinction helps when a designer needs one focused revision, a writer needs a first rough paragraph, or a developer needs to investigate a single bug. It does not replace client communication, shared deadlines, or team collaboration.

From intention to action

Give one deliverable a clear boundary.

  1. 01

    Name the output

Write the next design change, paragraph, code test, or proposal section in Tasks & Notes. If it still feels vague, split it into a smaller subtask you can finish or hand off.

  2. 02

Match the timer to the task

Choose Classic 25/5 for a contained pass, Flow 52/17 for a longer uninterrupted block, or Countdown when you need one clear endpoint. The rhythm is a tool, not a rule about how long work should take.

  3. 03

    Leave a return cue

Before you step away, note the next action and mark finished steps. A short screen-free break can be easier to end when you already know where to resume.

A tool for solo focus

Use it around the work you already do.

Creative production

A writer can draft without polishing every sentence. A designer can reserve one block for exploration and another for decisions. The timer makes the scope of this pass explicit.

Remote-work interruptions

Silence notifications where you can, write down what needs attention later, and return to one useful step after an unavoidable call or message.

Open-ended problem solving

Use a longer focus block for research, code, or planning. Keep a note of unresolved questions so a break does not erase the thread.

Questions before a work block

Keep the setup light.

Is MinuFlow a project-management tool?

No. It is a personal focus space for the task in front of you. Continue using your existing project or team system for shared assignments, deadlines, and collaboration.

Which timer is best for deep work?

There is no single best length. Try 25/5 for a contained task, 52/17 for a longer work block, or a custom countdown if you already know your stopping point.

Can I use it without signing up?

Yes. Free Clock, Countdown, Focus, Tasks & Notes, and included backgrounds and sounds work without an account.

Will my work notes sync between devices?

Notes in the free version without an account stay in the current browser. Paid Premium members may opt in to Premium sync for Tasks, Notes, and preferences. Active timers remain on the device where they started.
