Give one task your attention

A quieter way to begin.

A 25-minute timer gives a task a clear beginning and end. Use this countdown to read a chapter, work through practice questions, draft a few paragraphs or make a start on something you have been putting off.

  1. Choose one small task before you start.
  2. Press Start timer. Pause and resume whenever you need.
  3. When the alarm sounds, take a short break and decide what comes next.

Twenty-five minutes is also the usual focus interval in the Pomodoro method. This page runs one countdown; for repeating focus and break intervals, use MinuFlow’s Pomodoro mode.

A few useful answers.

Is this a complete Pomodoro cycle?

This page runs one 25-minute focus interval. It does not automatically add a five-minute break or repeat the cycle. For alternating focus and break intervals, open Pomodoro mode in the full focus space.

What task should I choose for a 25-minute session?

Choose a specific piece of work, such as drafting a section, reading with notes or attempting a set of practice questions. Keep the target small enough that you can review your progress at the end.

What should I do if I finish before the alarm?

You can pause or reset the timer. If it is useful, spend the remaining minutes reviewing your work or writing down the next step. You do not need to fill the block with unrelated work.

Does refreshing erase my current focus interval?

When browser storage is available, this page restores its countdown in the same tab. If it was running, select Test sound after reloading to enable the alarm again. This timer is separate from sessions and statistics in the full focus space.
